Wandsworth Police are running a “concerted” campaign to tackle the robbery of school children, and target offenders.

The force also says to avoid shortcuts such as parks at night, and to stick to busy areas where possible.

Inspector Jonathon Lloyd says “if you are a parent, I’d ask you to speak to your children about how to prevent becoming a victim”.
