A Hammersmith and Fulham council worker has got his job back, after it was ruled he was unfairly dismissed for comments about Zionism.
The Guardian reports that Stan Keable was recorded saying allegedly antisemitic remarks during a march in 2018. However, a tribunal heard that they were misrepresented, that Keable didn’t work in a political role, and said them outside the workplace. He’s been paid £70,000 in lost earnings. Hammersmith and Fulham says they’re “disappointed with the judgement2.
