A social media influencer from Dubai has received £6,500 fine and a restraining order following an incident with a man at a hotel in Knightsbridge in June last year.

24-year-old Rawan Abdullah – also known as Rawan Bin Hussain - pleaded guilty to harassment and criminal damage at Westminster Magistrates’ Court earlier this week.

The court heard that Abdullah had cut up the victim’s shirts with a pair of scissors and that the victim sustained an injury to his neck.

She was arrested and later bailed, however, continued to harass the victim via the phone and post messages about him online.
