The Times has now revealed the owner of the £18m property is a Tory donor accused of benefiting from a major fraud.
Viktor Fedotov is a Russian-born tycoon and former oil executive.
He's been accused of benefiting from an alleged $143m contracting fraud in Russia.
This comes from the leaked document database known as the Pandora Papers.
