Another injunction's been granted against Insulate Britain protesters, this time covering all motorways and major A roads across England
Anyone who breaches the court order could face jail and a fine. It’s emerged 130 arrests were made by Surrey Police during the four days of protests by Insulate Britain on the M25. 4,000 hours of police time were also taken up by the incidents. Police are working with the Crown Prosecution Service and other forces across the UK to decide who to charge and with what offence. Jerry Westerman, who is Surrey Police’s Head of Operations Commander for the M25, says the public also has a role to play.
