British Airways is putting on more flights after the red travel list was reduced to just 7 countries
Sean Doyle, boss of the Heathrow-based airline, says they look forward to “reigniting transatlantic businesses and reuniting families who have been separated for the best part of two years.” 47 were taken off the red list yesterday, meaning people arriving in the UK from those places won't need to quarantine in a hotel. Rules are also being relaxed for 37 other places, with the government now recognising their vaccines. Travel expert Paul Charles says it's great news for the industry, but thinks the removal of PCR tests for fully-vaccinated arrivals will be the real game-changer.
