People in Wandsworth are being given the option of having bulky waste collected from their doorsteps to avoid the ULEZ charge.

The £12.50 fee comes into force on October the 25th when the Ultra Low Emission Zone is expanded to parts of the borough.

The Smugglers Way Recycling Centre will be included in the new zone meaning some residents will have to pay extra to use it.   

Wandsworth Council says residents can instead book a doorstep collection for “ a modest fee.”
