Rocco Homes has taken its proposal to build a 9 storey block of flats in the high street to the planning Inspectorate in Bristol.
Kingston Council says it is not in favour of the development and will work to get the developer’s appeal dismissed.
The money raised by residents via GoFundMe will be used to employ a Planning Consultant to help residents make their case.
