Surrey Police is one of the first forces in the country to adopt a “4P” approach to tackling violence against women and girls

This stands for Prepare, Prevent, Pursue and Protect.

The method of work includes combining specialist services and  reviewing arrests made. 

Superintendent Detective Matt Barcroft-Barnes says it’s about putting the focus on the perpetrators of these crimes.
