Simon Cowell, of Wildlife Aid in Leatherhead, has also lost personal effects after his wallet was taken on Tuesday morning.
Mr Cowell put his wallet in the boot of his car while he unloaded shopping in the Tesco carpark.
It was in the “seconds” that he turned his back that someone made off with the item, which contained several hundred pounds in cash.
Police are investigating.
