500 Daffodil bulbs are being planted along the River Wandle in Merton this lunchtime

The flowers, when they bloom, will be in memory of Mark Shepherd, a former Met Police officer who died by suicide in August. 

His mum, Wendy, doesn’t want the subject of suicide to be taboo.
