A man from East Sheen has been found guilty, after throwing a knife into the Thames while being chased by police.

21-year-old Daniel Fallon-Wright was seen at speed on an e-scooter near Twickenham Police Station in late October.

He didn’t stop when officers signalled him to, and he fell of his scooter and fled towards the river.

He was tasered and arrested.

Meanwhile, police tied a magnet to a rope in order to retrieve the knife from the river.
