Adele has spoken openly about her divorce, its impact on her son, and how people reacted to her weight loss in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The star, who rose to fame after studying at The BRIT school in Croydon, admitted she was worried her new album - 30 - was a 'bit too private'.

She also performed tracks from the record and helped two of her fans to get engaged during the show.
