Richmond Council wants to remove the existing restrictions in Burtons Road and introduce an altered, experimental scheme.
Residents petitioned the authority in 2019 about the high numbers of vehicles using the road and the scheme was introduced in 2020.
However, tweaks including road signage and an exemption for residents living in nearby roads is now going to be considered.
