Hampton Court Palace’s East Front Gardens now feature 100 life- sized silhouettes of World War I “Tommy” Soldiers

The Standing With Giants art installation has been created ahead of Remembrance Sunday.

25 of the silhouettes represent almost 1,800 Indian soldiers who sailed to Britain in 1919 to take part in the Peace Parade.

They took up residence in Hampton Court’s gardens.

Sebastian Edwards, Head of Collections at Historic Royal Palaces, has a special appeal for Jackie listeners.
