It’s feared that a rugby match at Twickenham could have been a “superspreader” for the Omicron variant of coronavirus

On Saturday the 20th, over 80,000 fans gathered at the stadium.

While they needed a negative lateral flow test and proof of vaccination to enter, it’s feared the Omicron variant is resistant to vaccines.

Anyone who experiences any symptoms is asked to get tested.
