The Post Office and government are being urged to compensate workers who face financial ruin after being falsely accused of theft and fraud.

Former employees were found guilty after a flawed computer system suggested cash had gone missing between 2000 and 2014. 

But since then dozens of criminal convictions have been overturned and an inquiry into the scandal's been launched. 

They include Seema Misra, the former postmistress at West Byfleet, who was sent to prison in 2010 when she was pregnant.
