Traffic around a school in Twickenham has decreased by over 70% following a ban on vehicles at certain times.

A “school street” was set up around St Richard Reynold’s in September last year.

Data comparing traffic levels before and after its implementation shows a 73.5% decrease between 7.30am and 9.30am in Station Road.

Clifden Road, in which the school sits, has seen a 52% decrease.

The ban on vehicles is Monday to Friday from 7.45am to 9.15am and from 2pm to 3.30pm during term time only.
