Transatlantic travel to the US resumed this morning for UK holidaymakers for the first time in more than 600 days

 America's reopening its borders to British visitors who've been double-jabbed.

 Earlier two transatlantic flights took off from each of Heathrow's runways at the same time to mark the occasion.

Thousands have booked trips to reunite with family and friends.
