North End Road and Lillie Road are two of the borough’s most popular shopping streets.
The council says the colour-changing wraparound LEDs will stay up to allow them to “cast their enchanting glow on shoppers.”
It’s hoped the light displays will encourage people to keep shopping in the area and help the high streets to “flourish” post Covid.
