Two more cases of the Omicron coronavirus variant have been found in the UK, taking the confirmed number to 11.

Both are from London - in Camden and Wandsworth - and they had travel links to Southern Africa.

It was announced earlier that six cases have been identified in Scotland.

This afternoon, scientists have recommended the vaccine booster programme be expanded to people aged 18 to 39.
