50 army cadets are planning to carry a 6ft Christmas tree 22 miles in aid of Walking with The Wounded

 “Walking for Christmas” will start in Putney, zig zag around the cadets’ different bases, and end at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

It takes place on Sunday, the 12th of December .

The young cadets have been training for 6 months by walking 20 miles a day, 7 days a week alongside their instructors.
