51 Tory politicians are writing to Sadiq Khan, saying his plan to charge motorists to drive into Greater London will “erect a barrier around the capital”

The Daily Mail is carrying the letter, which is signed by the MPs for Wallington, Croydon South and Wimbledon.

Sadiq Khan says it will help London’s recovery, as he asks for more financial aid from the government.

It would mean that some people driving from outside the capital to the centre would have to pay £33, with the ULEZ and Congestion Charge.
