A man from Twickenham is aiming to raise £100,000 by swimming a mile a day for a year.

Andrew Spencer is taking on the challenge for Macmillan Cancer Support. 

It’s after his father, Francis, died after battling the disease last year. 

Andrew, who runs Hammertons Ferry, as his father did before him, says “I couldn’t be more willing to stretch myself to help”.
