All Saints Benhilton CoE Primary was chosen for the ‘Good Diabetes Care in School Award 2021’ by Diabetes UK.
The charity says it was because of the help it offers children to manage their condition and their inclusion in activities.
Type 1, which affects around 8% of those who have Diabetes, is not affected by your lifestyle or weight, like Type 2 is.
