Everton boss Rafa Benitez has revealed the club had a request to postpone their match against Burnley on Boxing Day rejected by the Premier League.

He's also confirmed they had five more positive Covid-19 cases following their draw with Chelsea last week.

Two top flight games that day are already off.

But Benitez is surprised their next fixture is going ahead.
