Four people posing as a building company who scammed people out of £800,000 have been found guilty of fraud.

That includes a 29-year-old man from Tooting.

Contemporary Home Improvements Limited convinced people they were legitimate by using a kitchen built by somebody else as a fake show home, and fake reviews.

Wendy Martin, from Trading Standards, says it was “build on dishonesty and deceit” and hope the verdicts can provide comfort for the victims.
