Labour is criticising the “Henry VIII fantasies” of the Prime Minister, as he allegedly moves to let ministers throw out legal rulings they disagree with

Croydon North MP and Shadow Justice Secretary Steve Reed says they want to “change the law to comply with their decisions”.

The Times reports that the PM is considering if the judicial review and courts bill goes far enough.

Downing Street is denying its considering any changes beyond what’s already proposed, and wants to strike “the right balance”.
