People across Epsom and Ewell who don’t need their Winter Fuel Allowance, are being asked to donate it instead.

Those born on or before September 1955 could receive between £100 and £300 from the government to help pay their heating bills. 

But Lisa Davis, the CEO of Citizens Advice Epsom and Ewell says some need the payment more than others. 

Project Wenceslas, organised by Ewell Rotary Club, is into its fifth year.
