People in a part of Merton are being urged to make sure sheds are securely locked, and bikes are secured to lawnmowers.

There have been reports of burglaries in Dorset Road, with somebody breaking in to steal Christmas presents.

The incidents happened at around 4am on Saturday, and police are asking for any CCTV of that time.

We’re being urged to not keep presents in the shed if possible.
