Richmond Council says its high Covid rate is largely driven by children in primary and secondary schools.

As of Thursday, the borough continued to have the highest rate in London at 668.7 per 100,000 population.

This is well above the London average of 451.7 per 100,000.

The council says parents need to make sure their children are following the rules, regularly testing and self-isolating if necessary.
