New Malden High Street is being given £120,000 by the Mayor of London to help it recover from the pandemic

It’s one of only 15 locations to receive a monetary handout via the “High Streets for All Challenge” initiative. 

Kingston Council says the money will be spent on creating a “vibrant culture scene.”

The authority is asking residents to come forward with ideas.
