Surrey Fire and Rescue service is in “much better shape” than it was two years ago, but is still showing many problems

The inspector has rated it as “requires improvement”.

However, its becoming “more effective and efficient” and is “approaching the challenge positively”.

Surrey’s Chief Fire Officer, Steve Owen-Hughes says he’s “extremely proud of the hard work happening within our service”.
