The former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is facing a criminal charge after a cyclist claimed he saw him driving while on his phone.

 Mike Van Erp claims he saw Lampard talking on the phone while holding a cup of coffee as he drove his Mercedes in south Kensington.

The cyclist uses a helmet-mounted GoPro camera and regularly hands evidence against motorists he thinks have broken the law.

Van Erp has previously caught boxer Chris Eubank and the film director Guy Ritchie.

Lampard denies the charges.
