Tributes are being paid to the architect of the Millennium Dome who has died at the age of 88.

One of Lord Richard Rogers’ early works was in 1967, designing a house for his parents in Wimbledon, overlooking the common.

He also designed the Welsh Government building, the Pompidou Centre in Paris, and Heathrow Terminal 5.

He won most of the industry’s major honours, and was created Baron Rogers of Riverside in Chelsea in 1996.
