Crimestoppers is offering a £20,000 reward to finally try and solve the disappearance of Lee Boxell.
He was believed to have been making his way to a football match at Selhurst Park when he vanished on September the 10th.
He was last spotted in Sutton High Street at around 2pm on that day.
The money put up by the charity is for anonymous information, in the hope someone will come forward with details of what happened to Lee.
His father, Peter, says “this really does give someone a chance to do the right thing and help ease our years of pain.”
He added that it’s a “race against time” to lay Lee to rest as he and Lee’s mother are now in their 70s.
Information passed directly to police will not qualify. Only information passed to Crimestoppers using the secure anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or via the 0800 555 111 freephone number will qualify.
