Officials say there is "no substance" to reports that Ineos chief executive Jim Ratcliffe is interested in buying Chelsea.

A spokesman for the British billionaire's told Reuters rumours linking Ratcliffe to Stamford Bridge are unfounded.

It comes after current owner Roman Abramovich put the club up for sale yesterday.
