Sutton United are gearing up for their first Wembley final in over 40 years this weekend
A bus is touring the borough today, with the chance for fans to take photos with club members and the EFL trophy. The bus will leave Sutton United Football Club in Gander Green Lane at 12 noon and will tour the district (without stopping) until 2pm. At 2pm until 6pm it will be parked in Sutton High Street ( Trinity Square) when there will be an opportunity to meet the manager and players, have photos taken, meet the club mascot, Jenny the Giraffe, see the trophy and buy official merchandise- ready for the club's appearance at Wembley on Sunday 3rd April. They’re up against Rotherham United on Sunday, who are top of League One. Chairman Bruce Elliott says while Sutton may not be favourites on paper, they’ll still do the side justice.
