The Laurie Todd Foundation in Kingston, which is working to improve early diagnosis of Oesophageal cancer, is looking to hold its next fundraiser at the end of the month.
Oesophageal
cancer is a cancer that's found anywhere in the oesophagus, sometimes called
the gullet or food pipe.
Symptoms
can include trouble swallowing and acid reflux as well as indigestion and a
lack of energy.
Laurie
Todd, after whom the charity is named, died just 6 weeks after being diagnosed
in 2018.
The
charity raffle is being drawn on the 31st of March and all money
raised will go into the charity’s work. Prizes include:
