All staff who undertake contracts for Wandsworth Council will now be paid the London Living Wage of £11.05 per hour.

The authority’s new leader elect, Simon Hogg, has made the pledge. 

He says all new town hall contracts signed with external companies will include this requirement. 

Labour’s Cllr Hogg ousted Conservative council leader Ravi Govindia, who had been in the position for over a decade, at the local elections.
