The UK government, European commission and premier league approved the four-and-a-quarter-billion-pound deal this week.
The deal is due to be completed on Monday with net proceeds going to support the humanitarian effort in Ukraine.
Assurance have been given that Roman Abramovich won’t make money from the sale.
