Plans for a major upgrade of Junction 10 of the M25 have been approved by the transport secretary.

The junction has one of the highest collision rates across England and National Highways say the project will reduce that number by a third.

The motorway will be widened and the adjoining A3 will expand from three to four lanes.

The proposals were met with opposition about cutting down trees at Wisley and its impact on wildlife.
