The first trains have started running on London's new Elizabeth line - marking the end of the massive construction project formerly known as Crossrail

The service - which links Reading and Heathrow Airport in the west to Shenfield in Essex in the east - has opened this morning.

It'll slash many journey times in the capital, but is three-and-a-half years late and more than 4 billion pounds over budget.
