The home in Weybridge where EM Forster wrote Howard’s End is up for sale for £1.6m.

It has a red plaque on the entrance commemorating the author.

While he lived there from 1904 to 1925, he spent a large amount of that time abroad, including in India.

The three-storey property needs renovation, particularly in the kitchen and bathrooms, where some of the fittings are outdated.
