The parent company of British Airways has posted heavy losses for the first three months of the year

Heathrow-based International Airlines Group reported a shortfall of £916m, as bosses blamed coronavirus restrictions for reduced passenger numbers.

But they say demand is "recovering strongly" with the business expecting to return to making a profit this year.
