The Rugby Football Union will be able to seek millions of pounds from two companies, after “defective work” at Twickenham Stadium.

FM Conway and CSP were accused of failing to design and install a watertight system for electrical cables.

The two firms blamed each other for the defects, with CSP blaming poor installation and FM saying the design was bad.

The RFU can now seek £4.4m for the leaky roof.
