A children’s home set up in Sutton over three weeks during the pandemic has been rated “Good”.

Willow Rise was established in June 2020 after the council didn’t have room for a looked-after child in its care.

Ofsted praised the “journey” the leadership team had been through, and the home is “safe, well decorated, and comfortable”.

However, they criticised the quality of record keeping, saying they found inconsistencies in different documents.

The home says they’re “keen to build on this with constant reviews”.
