A driver has been handed a fine after he drove his Range Rover up to the gates of Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park.

The footpath, which takes visitors from the carpark to the gardens, is reserved for pedestrians.

Royal parks officers say the driver told them that there were no signs to say he couldn’t park outside the gates.
