A tiny tree frog has turned up in a bag of bananas more than 4,000 miles from home in Sheen.

The RSPCA was called to a house after a shopper discovered the amphibian when he unpacked his groceries.

The 3cm long frog is believed to be a Hispaniola or a Dominican tree frog from the Dominican Republic.

The little amphibian is now in the care of staff  at Heathrow Animal Reception Centre
