A trial's restarted to find out if blood plasma from people who've recovered from covid can help the vulnerable when they catch it

It’s taking place at Charing Cross Hospital in Hammersmith.

Only so-called 'super donors' will be used - they're those who've had the virus and the vaccination - which makes their blood very rich in antibodies.

The earlier study found some benefits among immuno-suppressed people.
